Schofield Bowling Center 

It's always a new beginning when the tour moves to Schofield Bowling Center and the new scheduled times.  We did have a great turnout though with 76 entries, paid 15 places, handicaps ranging  from 0 to 57; paid out $5,993.00; low to cash was at 905; crowned a new Champion and paid $1,426.00 for 1st Place.  The day began as expected with 18 entries and scores posted as we like to see it. 

At the end of the first squad, Jacob George posted the best score of 1034 that put him right at the top of the leader board followed by member Naomi Rose at 965 and Chaz Castro, 951.  Jacob did make a comment to a member that "he felt that he would shoot a 300 no tap game". 

The second squad had several of our members taking their shot at the leader board to no avail.  Jacob George's score of 1034 held steady as Vergilio Repollo made a gallant attempt but fell short firing a 1015 and defending Champion Sue Stephens 975. 

The third squad saw Paulette Kameenui firing on all cylinders to start the final squad, trying to take advantage of her handicap only to fall short in the final game.  Andrae Lara fought hard but at the change of lanes, "ran out of gas".  Christalynn Bonifacio was bowling consistently but just could not catch a break to slip by Jacob.  Then there was none! 

It was a demanding pattern, however Jacob George's 1034 held off all comers and won his first title.  Congratulations Jacob!  Jacob thanks his Aunties Naomi and Audrey for their constant support and motivation and the 9 Tap Tour Staff for a great playing environment.  He also would like to send a "Shout Out" to his Dad for always being there and rooting for him.  He says that the win could not have come at a better time as he is saving up and sending some home to his family.  Jacob used a Storm Astro Physics bowling ball drilled by Keith Odette at WLE Pro Shop for his win.

Our 9 Tap Jackpot has grown to $2,709.00 and our Progre$$ive Pot  stands at $1,260.00.   New member Tracey Barretto was our 9 Tap Jackpot bonus bucks winner rolling 4 no taps for $75.00.  Bring a friend or family member and sign them up to bowl on your tour.  Adrian brought in 3 new bowlers;  Kevin, Keanu and Andrae all brought in family and a friend making our tour a little larger.
