Mike Asuncion of Hawaii Bowling Supply kicked off our first tournament of 2020 by taking a commanding lead into the 1st and 2nd squads. Our 3rd squad turned out to be a large one with 5 bowlers on every pair of lanes (7).
back in October of 2019 for title number 8. It did not take him long to win title number 9 and start of the year"HAPPY". There was some soul searching for Ben after a horrendous finish at our 2019 Year End Championship. Ben thought that the only way to fix that was to get back on the lanes to "Practice". Of course, I would have blamed it on the bowling ball and give it a way, that is how bad his score was at the tournament. I believe his score was less than 140; hmmm, or was it 130; Oh! no it was less than 120. Ben did exhibit "restraint and resilience", although I still would have given that bowling ball away. After some okay scores in the final squad, Ben finishes with a rousing 9 tap 300, a total score of 1062 and picks up his 9th Championship title and $1,367.00. Terrence Fukuda and Paulette Kame'enui finished at 1025, in a tie for 2nd Place and a share of $468.00 each. Great Finish!!
