Total Paid Out: $6,130.00

Wrap Up

First Time Champion. . . .

After a great tournament at K-Bay Lanes with 84 entries, paying 17 places; paid out $6,067.00 w/1st Place to Co-Champions worth $2,266.00, our 9 Tap Tour tournament returned to Ft. Shafter Lanes for more excitement.  We had a great turnout at Ft. Shafter for a "Beat the Board"  format w/85 entries, 17 cashers with low to cash at 899 and paid out $6,130.00 w/1st Place worth $1,471.00.  Ft. Shafter's tournament history also revealed that 50% or more 1st time winners won their title at Ft. Shafter.  This season it has been 100%, 3 tournaments held at Ft. Shafter, 3 new Champions.

Craig Bolling joined the 9 Tap Tour in September of 2017 and in 8 months has won hisfirst title.  Since joining, Craig has been a staunch supporter of the 9 Tap Tour and has bowled in nearly every tournament.  Craig didn't waste any time in squad one setting the bar high as he posted an "awesome" score of 1074, leaving everyone in his wake.  Vergilio Repollo shot a nice respectable score of 1003 but far from getting close to Craig.  The second squad produced some exciting moments as Grace Toguchi came up 4 pins short of taking the lead from Craig Bolling, firing a super round of 1071.  K-Bay Champion Brandon Benicta also came up a little short shooting a nice 1037.  The third squad also a put on quite a show as Terrence Fukuda threw the front 9 "Natural Strikes".  However, it's the fourth game; 9 natural strikes; the final frame and needing one more strike or tap; Terrence would earn his first title.  Terrence goes high on the head pin and "Craig Bolling dodges another  Bowler"!

Craig wins his first title and $1,471.00.  Craig was asked did he have any special plans for his winnings, his answer was, a plain "Vegas Baby"!  He thanks his wife Tonja for "getting him out of the house", Kelly and Mike for cheering him on.  Congratulations Craig on your first title!!!

Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots

The 9 Tap Jackpot stands at $3,849.00 and the Progressive Pot increased to$1,304.00. Tell your friends and family about your tour, it will be “Fun and Exciting” this year.
