Schofield Bowling Center . . . 

Our 9 Tap Tour tournament made a return to Schofield Bowling Center, January 23, 2016, for another “Beat the Board” format and like always, the format provided our members with great excitement and close scoring.   Two 9 Tap Veterans shared the “Limelight” at Schofield's 9 Tap Tournament!  Scores were lower and gave all of our members a chance to take home the top prize.  Dwayne Corpuz started the day off with a nice 998 and a 37 pin lead.  In the second squad, Clint Kato started his day bowling scores of 242, and 230 moved a pair of lanes shot a nice 297 to give him a chance to win his third title.  After a throwing 2 strikes in the 10th frame and needing a nine pin tap or natural strike to take the lead outright in the 12th frame a makeable game of 231,"braddah went gasping for air (CHOKE)" or was he trying to spread the Aloha!  Not!!!  an eight count on his final ball created a TIE!  In the 3rd squad, Cheryl Kato (Mrs. Clint Kato), started off like gangbusters, using her 66 pins of handicap to create a stir,  fired games of 313, 240 and 209.  Needing a scratch game of 170, Cheryl missed in the 9th (split) and 10th frames a 142 (208) and settled for a 3rd place finish.   Congratulations to Co-Champions Dwayne Corpuz and Clint Kato for winning their  3rd Title, a white champion shirt and a share of $1,326.   "Wow,  Awesome". 

Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots . . . 

Our Progressive Pot stands at $739.00 and the 9 Tap Jackpot at $2,919.00.  Still big pots to win a whole lot of CA$$$H!!!   

MEMBERSHIP DEFERRAL 

As the Tour does every year, ALL current Members have the option of Deferring their Membership Fee until they Cash in a Tournament.  So no need to worry about paying for 2016 up front, unless you want to get it out of the way.
