50 entries on the Day; Erran wins First Title 

Changing a venue at the last minute is "S T R E S S F U L " but Schofield was gracious enough to help us fill the void and permit the tour to operate at their bowling center.  BIG Mahalo Schofield! 

This past weekend’s tournament produced another 1st time Champion and paid out $1008.00 for 1st place.  Erran Joseph hit it big at Schofield winning his first Championship, earning his Blue Championship shirt and a paycheck of $1,008.00.  Erran’s win wasn’t the only excitement of the day.   Daniel Velez and Randy Kaea-Cook went out ahead of the group in the 1st squad both posting a 741 score.  The 2nd squad saw Cora Naki-Souza post a nice 749 to jump out in front of Daniel and Randy.  In the 3rd squad though, Virgil Dela Cruz started things off (280 + 254) then struggled a little  after the change of lanes.  Meanwhile, Erran Joseph (242 + 295) and Edward Estoesta (268 + 309) were battling each other on the same pair of lanes.  On the change of lanes, Erran and Edward both faltered a little with Edward having the edge on Erran (234 to 195) but the 4th game heroics of Erran (282) to Edwards (188) gave Erran an 8 pin victory. 

Congratulations Erran on your win!  Erran used a Brunswick Meanstreak, drilled by Virgil Dela Cruz of Exxxtreme 300 for his 1st Title.  A Retired Army Veteran of 20 years, Erran is using his "Big Payday" to pay some bills.  He thanks the 9 Tap Tour for putting on these exciting and challenging tournaments. 

Progressive and 9 Tap Jackpots; YEC Dec 19th; 

Our Progressive Pot has decreased a little to $900.00 and our 9 Tap Jackpotstands at $2,423.00.  The jackpots are still large and will pay any of our members“Big Bucks”!  Our next tournament will be held at Ft Shafter Lanes, October 17th and it will be a "Beat the Board" format.  Bring a friend or a family member to check out the tour.  See You there. 

Year End Championship (YEC) 

The Year End Championship (YEC) is scheduled for December 19th at Schofield.  This is an invitational tournament and will be opened to 80 active members only.  Current and Active Past Champions will automatically get an invite.  After all the champions have responded, it will then be opened to the other members using the Bowler of the Year list, starting from the top.
