Schofield Bowl - June 27th, 2015

Total Paid Out: $7,529.00

Wrap Up

The First Team Event of the 9 Tap Tour was a "Huge Success". The tour paid 1 in 5, having 21 Teams, paid 4 places with a total payout of $7,529.00.  The payouts went like this; 1st place received $3,000.00; 2nd place $1,500.00; 3rd place $750.00; and 4th place $300.     Audie's Auto Techwas the sponsor for our Inaugural "Team Event" as it kicked off at 1200 noon with one (1) squad only on June 27, 2015 at Schofield Bowling Center.  Our format for the event was simple, "total pin fall plus handicap and the highest Team wins".  We hope that our members had a great time with this tournament, as it was a break from our normal "Beat the Board and Best 3 of 4" formats but still allow our members to win some "Big Bucks" while having Fun!

And Our Winners were. . . .

Team Beauties and the Beast (Kimie Roller/ Samantha Masuda/Matt Kaea) stepped it up quickly by being the first game leader with a score of 804,followed closely by tourney sponsorTeam Saili 765(Audie Saili/Annie Saili/Dennis Matthews), Team Carrick 747 (Emory Carrick/David Gilman/Randy Kaea-Cook) and Team Asato 723 (Kevin Asato/Daniel Perreira/Kevin Enomoto).  Team Exxxtreme 300 #4 (Keanu Deboma/Dwayne Corpuz/Bob Kailewa) took over the Top Spot by firing a nice 777 and the second game lead with a 2-game total of 1494.  Team Beauties and the Beaststayed in the hunt for the $3,000.00 winners pay out with a score of 1490 followed by Team Saili with a score of 1485.  Close by was Team Carrick and making a move into the top 5 spot, Team Pali Special(Clint Kato/Cheryl Kato/Guy Pa'io).  Also making a run for the top dollar and moving up the ranks wasTeam Takahashi (Alric Kutara/Rodney Fujii/Chris Takahashi).  Despite Alric (717) and Rodney's (769) great scores, "the anchor's weight was much to bear", Chris (619), but on a good note they did finish in the top ten.  Member Ricky Laguana of Team Remigio (Sidney Remigio/Don Furuya/Ricky Laguana) made it interesting, shooting a 290 game only to fall 15 pins short of the cash list. The winner of our first Team Event went to Sponsor Audie's Auto Tech, Team Saili!!!  No one was happier than Audie Saili as he finally was able to win his 1st title.  Winning her 1st title was Audie's boss and lifetime partner, Annie Saili. Dennis Matthews, the third member of the team won his third title and was "Stoked".  Coming in 2nd was Team Exxxtreme 300 #4, followed byTeam Beauties & the Beast and in fourth place was Team Kelley (Timmy Issac/Cameron Cofield/Adrian Kelley).  Team Kelley put together two great scores to slip by Teams Pali Special and Remigio.  Team Saili would like to thank Roy Yamanuha at Ft. Shafter Pro Shop and Jim Pirtle/Nelson Weyl of Schofield Pro Shop for drilling their bowling balls.  They also thanked the 9 Tap Tour Staff and in Audie's words, "Thanks to the 9 Tap Tour Family for having something for every bowler to enjoy and have fun".
