The 9 Tap Tour began the New Year successfully with another great tournament and a New Champion.  Tam Tran made a few changes this New Year of 2015 by first: changing his name to Thomas Tran; second, borrowed socks; and thirdly, shot his first No Tap 300.  With this formula, combination and final score of 1042, Tom wins his first title along with $967.00.  Congratulations Tom on a great start of the New Year!  In second place was 2014 Bowler of the Year (BOY), Ben Ballesterosposting a 980 score and Cameron Cofield with a 969 for 3rd Place.  Tom thanks Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop, Virgil Dela Cruz for drilling his DV8 Dude that he used to win his first title and Ron Loo for the borrowed socks.  The Tour makes its next showing at Pali Lanes on January 24, for our “Beat the Board” format, and a larger Progre$$ive Pot, thanks to Tom Tran, who could only play the $10 Progressive Pot.  Our Progressive Pot now stands at $1,407.00 and the 9 Tap Jackpot at $6,867.00.  At last weeks Schofield tournament there was a three way tie with 3 No Taps between Ricky Laguana, Sid Remigio and Glen Lim each receiving $35.00 apiece.
