Laguana Shares in the Limelight 

Mike Laguana didn't win a title but he put up "7 No Taps in the Middle" to win $1000.00.  The only thing was Mike didn't know he won anything.  Huh!  But his brother, Ricky, and all the other members knew it.  Happy!  On another note, Ben Ballesteros had 6 in the middle but a natural strike for his seventh frame prevented Ben from sharing in the $1,000.00 bonus jackpot.  Bob Kailewa had 5 No Taps from the first frame but Mike Laguana nosed him out.  Sad!  

Championship decided by the "Fourth Game" 

The K-Bay Tournament did not disappoint us as scoring was great.  Scores in our “Beat the Board” format was exciting all day.  The order of the day started with the leader Don Salamero firing a nice 1053.   That score of 1053 by Don led the second squad as well.  Then the fireworks began in the third squad with Kevin Enomoto, Darin Villegas and Ian Benson firing 300 no tap games with Dennis Matthews and Vanessa Couch-Laguana, tossing in a couple of 290+ games, close on their heels.  Ian continued his hot bowling as the others faltered and won the K-Bay tournament going away, posting a personal best of 1135.  Don Salamero finished in second with the score of 1053 and Harry Adams, bowling consistently, ended a pin less at 1052.  

Congratulations Ian on winning your second title.  Ian would like to thank Exxxtreme 300 Pro Shop, his new found homies and Virgil Dela Cruz for drilling his Storm Cruxbowling ball.  With his winnings, Ian says " he is taking da boys drinking".  Be Safe! 

Our 9 Tap Jackpot decreased to $6,173.00 after Mike Laguana's middle 7 for $1,000.00 and $180.00 for the No Tap Special.   TheProgressive Pot stands at  $1,066.00.  The pots are still large and waiting for one of our members to take home the “Bigger Bucks”.  Our next stop will be at Schofield Bowling Center on June 27, 2015 for our "Team Event" with one squad only, starting at 1200 noon.
