Yes, the past weekend crowned “Co-Stars ”, Virgil Dela Cruz (Old) and Roger Benicta (New) as the final quarterly tounament Champions.  Roger finished the 1st squad with the outright lead firing a 1039 and was in the driver’s seat.  Then waited till the end of the 3rd squad to see where he  finished.  Actually, the first time was the charm as he stated, "was dog luck and I was just the lucky guy".  He thanks Nelson Weyl for drilling his equipment.  Congratulations, Roger on rolling a great series and on your 1st Title.  Virgil Dela Cruz (Old Guy!) is the other "Co-Star", as he rolled a great series of 1039 to tie first squad leader Roger Benicta at Schofield Bowling Center, winning his second title. Both agreed to become Co-Champions for the Schofield event, because Virgil did confess that he was "just to tired to bowl a roll-off".  Virgil thanks his family and friends for their continued support; and the 9 Tap Tour for putting on the tournament.  Wanda Solano was our No Tap bonus winner putting together 5 no taps for an additional $300 to go with her 3rd place finish. 

BOY Champion Crowned; Year End Championship 

Daniel Toyooka-Lim continued his "Hot Streak" in cashing for the 3rd time in a row and simply ran away with the "Bowler of the Year".  On his heels were last seasons BOY Ben Ballesteros and Emory Carrick.  The Progre$$ive Pot will be a nice $1,716.00 a good start for the New Year.  The 9 Tap Jackpot is up to $6,508.00.  Just a reminder, members that are bowling in Hawaii's 1st Year End Championship, please get your shirts with the “9 Tap” logo and  name embroidered.  Take an old shirt toTour Sponsor Verna Rapez of “The Embroidery Gift Shop”, located at Stadium Mall and have her embroider your shirt.
