Fantastic 

Wow!  Jonathan Chaffinwas the story and scoring item of the day at Ft. Shafter Lanes this past weekend.  He opened the gates early and then closed it in one swoop.  Jon posted his score of 1059, sat back and watched every member fall apart.  The only other member to break a 1000 was September ChampionLauralyn Samsonwith a nice score of 1027.  On any other weekend, Lauralyn would have had her 2nd Championship shirt but a wayward first shot into the “channel” was costly as were a couple of splits, otherwise . . .Christmas would have come early.  Jonathan earned $1,612.00 and his 1st Title and Shirt.Lauralyn placed 2nd and earned $714.00.  Our newest member, Josephine Malama, placed 3rd after having second thoughts of bowling on the Tour, she took home $266.00 for her efforts.  As she says, “I had an enjoyable and fun time”.  Jonathan says “the turning point for me was the third game, feeling the pressure, he told himself to relax and enjoy the bowling”.  Nice Job, Jonathan!  Congratulations!!  Asked what he was going to do with his winnings, he said “Christmas Shopping, gifts for Mom and Dad”.  

Our Final Tournament is Saturday, December 15, at Schofield Bowling Center and the Tour will have special giveaways and presentation of prizes to our Quarterly Champions.  Giveaways will be given away during the first squad and presentations before the start of the second squad.
