Again, turnouts for the 9 Tap Tour tournaments have been just great. Although the start of today's tournament was slow, it ended with new members joining in on the last squad. Hawaii region is steadily growing and now has 209 members. Another of our average league bowler has won a title, Dwayne Corpuz is the latest and holds a 170 league average. Winners that cashed in Saturdays tournament were also bowlers with mid and low range averages. Dwayne entered the first squad at 12:00 and started off in a huge way shooting 255 and 257. But then faltered a little after the change in lanes by scoring a 179. Dwayne made the adjustment to the change and shot a final game of 256 for a grand total of 1047 and the tournament lead, which then held up and brought him his first title. Dwayne used a Roto Grip Empire bowling ball, drilled by Danny Maglangit of Strike'em Pro Shop for his win. Asked what special plans he has for his winnings, hisreply was “give it to my wife”.
