Hickam Bowling Center - Jan. 15th, 2011
Total Paid Out: $3,657.00
The scoring started slow after the first two squads as 951 was the leading score put up by Solomon Chung Jr.. But “déjà vu”, back in August of 2010, “Brenda Salas was deciding whether "To Wash or Not to Wash", told her husband Roman, "heh! wait till tomorrow, Sunday, get all day", went to Hickam Bowling Center and became the Tours’ first 2 time Champion. This past tournament, also at Hickam, Lance Inagaki wanted to bowl on the second squad but “fell asleep”. After getting up, he didn’t want to bowl but wife Darcie said that she had wanted to bowl and “made” Lance take her. Lance, because you changed your mind, the father and son team, Steve and Camryn Bonifacio, placed 2nd and 3rd. Lance became the Tours’ 2nd two time Champion at Hickam. After two squads, the 3rd squad produced some real fine bowling starting with the Tours’ first “natural” 300 game rolled by Ralph Collier. Congratulations Ralph! The Neves brothers, Lonnie and Jayson were close by, as was Jason Miyasaki, who let the championship slip through his hands. Ralph Collier started his squad with a natural 300 then couldn’t get back on track after moving lanes. Bob Kailewa would like to take back a couple of 10th frames, otherwise it “coulda, woulda, shoulda, been” something. Our 9 Tap Jackpot survived another tournament, although there were 3 members putting up 4 No Taps, Ashley Spencer, Sonya Baker and Lance Inagaki. Each won $50 for their efforts. "Lance used a Global 900 longshot, drilled by Keith Odette of Bowlers Connection, for his win. He also wants to thank his wife, Darcie, for persuading him to take her to Hickam and the 9 Tap Tour officials for putting together a fun and exciting tournament. |
