WHAT A SUNDAY!!!  HUGE THANKS to Bowlero Lanes and Staff!!  They accommodated our last minute move from Roxbury and they were rewarded with the largest 3-Squad Tournament in their 22 years of hosting the Tour.  A mammoth 219 entries, including two of the biggest squads ever at Bowlero (80 & 86), produced a giant Cash List of 45 bowlers thanks to a 3-way tie for the last spot.  The 219 entries came within just 8 of the Record 227 set last year at Secoma, for a 3-squad Tournament.  The staggering Total Payout of $14,926.00 Sunday, only adds to the record setting pace we've seen all year.  The scoring couldn't have been more perfect, with the Top 3 separated by only NINE pins and they were also the only 800s of the day, while the 'Cut-Line' was slightly on the low side at 702.  The assault on the 9-Tap Jackpot was relentless, and all day long.  Samson Ibale started the assault in the 1st squad, when he came through on Tap #7 in the Middle of his first game, worth $500.00.  Jeff Price later had a string of 6-Middle Taps and earned his chance to toss one ball for $500.00, but sadly came up one short.  Then Dale Coleman strung the Front-6 Taps, giving him a 'GOLDEN SHOT'... one-ball for a huge bounty of  $5,376.00.  A few fellow bowlers thought Dale got #7 (see video), but Dale immediately saw the 9-pin hiding behind the 3-pin.  That 8-count left Dale with the Front-6 giving him a tie with Samson, also earning him the $500.00 Consolation.  (7Middle & Front6 are both worth $500 and are considered a tie).

Skip Shear's second squad 810 held up for his FOURTH Career Title, despite several bowlers that had a shot at his total, who were derailed by one or two errant shot in their last game.  Skip's previous Wins have been very diverse... his first Title was in the Elite Division back when we 'test marketed' a high average Tour... #2 was a 2nd Quarter Championship at Secoma in 2018... #3 was also at Secoma, in the Tour's only 'split' Tourney, when an oil machine issue on the re-oil, caused us to make two Tourneys out of one.  Title #4 Sunday was really only unique because of the record size turnout that Skip had to surpass to Win this one.  His Extra Large payday was proportionate to that turnout, sending him home with a $2,548,00 check, along with $205.00 from the Scratch Pot and, I'm sure, a nice haul from the Bracket Table.  His big Prize Money check moved him within $337.00 of reaching the $20,000.00 CLUB, he's currently at $19,663.00.

Adam Hamlet's super 803 was just 7 pins back, finishing in 2nd Place for the FIFTH time in his career.  In 2022, Adam recieved a rarely presented award, for the unusual or unlucky feat of capturing 2nd Place FOUR times in one year.  He did have quite a year in 2022, also earning his first Tour Title that year as well.  Thanks again to the large turnout, Adam's 2nd Place check was by far his biggest, complete with a coveted 'comma', at $1,139.00.

Just another TWO pins back at 801, Saman 'Johnnie' Seng took 3rd Place.  Johnnie was within an errant 10th frame, of earning his FIRST Tour Title.  Like Adam, he has come close many times, with SIX previous 2nd place finishes, two of them earlier this year.  The nice $565.00 check should help a little.
