The 9-Tap Tour traveled up the hill to Skyway Park Bowl for this Saturday's tournament, doing the popular "Best 3 out of 4" format.  90 entries came out, vying for 18 spots on the Cash List that saw the cut line at a reasonable 725 for the day.  We would like to thank Jeannierose and her staff for a great day of bowling. 

The 9-Tap Jackpot stood solid, more than it has in the past at Skyway.  Several 3 taps again this week, but Jason Hummell came in the last squad, and hit the Front 4 9-Taps to win the $100 consolation prize this week.  Next week's 9-Tap Jackpot will be at $7,888.  

This week we crown another first time champion, Jamal Muhammad, shooting a 857.  Jamal started on the Tour in November of 2022, and his best finish before was a 3rd place.  Jamal was wearing his Dexter 9 shoes, while throwing hi Hammer Ocean Vibe ball drilled by Erik Akioka.  Jamal said he was nervous going into the 4th game, but told himself that "he's a good bowler," finding his line and kept on it.  Jamal's positive attitude and smile earned him a $1,858.  Congratulations Jamal! 

Taking 2nd place, and was also looking for his first championship was Gilbert Montejano, who shot 844.  Gilbert actually topped his first squad score by 34 pins, and thought he had a chance.  Gilbert collected $833 for his great effort this week. 

This week's 3rd place finisher, is Hall of Famer and "Legend" Tong Nguyen scoring 812.  Tong who is a 21-year veteran of the Tour and has won at Skyway before earned himself a nice check of $422 plus scratch pot money.
