There are not enough adjectives to describe what you bowlers did to the previous record of 213 entries at a One-Day Tournament.  263 entries showed up to Secoma Lanes in Federal Way with 54 bowlers making the Cash List, and a total of $15,560 was paid out from the 3-Game Sunday format.  A BIG THANK YOU, to Mike and his staff for challenging us by giving us the whole house for the first two squads, and we would have filled it on the final squad.  9-Tap Bowlers were up to the challenge. 

The 9-Tap Jackpot again avoided any big hits this week, moving the Jackpot over the $10,000 ($10,447 to be exact) for the first time ever.  Veteran bowler, Rudy Laed hit the Front-5 taps before putting his next effort just a little too far outside.  Rudy earned the consolation prize of $375.

 

For the 6th time this year, we have a 1st time Champion, Marilyn Mateo.  Marilyn started bowling the 9-Tap Tour in August, 2022.  Marilyn used her Storm Hype ball, while wearing her Dexter SST 8 Pro shoes scoring an impressive 842.  Marilyn said, "This time I will give the check to Red, because I took his winnings when he won 1st place." (Red won in January of this year).  Marilyn felt very blessed and thanked everyone on the Tour for their support.  Marilyn took home a check of $2,655.  Great job Marilyn! 

The only other 800 plus score shot by one of our most senior bowlers on Tour, Lewis Harley with a score of 805.  Lewis has been on a little bit of a cold streak since winning the 2022 Year-End Championship, but found his mark on Sunday earning a nice 2nd place check of $1,192. 

The 3rd place bowler is a relative newcomer to the Tour, Aaron Williams.  Aaron beat Brian Peters by 1 pin, with a score of 776 to receive a $612 check for his efforts.
