The tour heads up north to Kenmore Lanes for our final tournament of 2023.  Scoring pace here seems to be always on target, but this weekend our competitors came out to bowl to get our final spot in next week’s Year End Championship.  With 112 bowlers showing up, there was 8 scores over 800, with a low to cash of 755 in the final spot of 22nd place.  Scoring was very close all day as you can see with 5 ties on the cash list. 

The 9 Tap Jackpot stood at a huge $9,033.00, and continue to torment our bowlers. At one point we had 8 bowlers tied with the front 3 taps, that’s until Cameron Christie hit the front 4 taps for a nice $150.00.  Next week the pot grows once again to a massive $9,330.00. 

Coming out blazing, Thang Duc Thai fires a huge 857 series to take down his 11th Championship.  Thang, who is a staple on the tour, shot great in all three squads as he tried to beat his score fired in the first squad.  Thang who loves bowling, and really enjoys bowling with his brother Huyen, would like to thank all his friends and family for cheering him on.  Thang takes home one of the largest checks this year of $2,529.00.

 

 

Another hot bowler this weekend and just missing his 4th title, Greg Burdsall takes home 2nd place.  After firing a huge 818 in the first squad, Greg came back in the 3rd squad to shoot an enormous 833 series. Greg’s 2nd place brings him a nice check on $1,111.00. 

Our third place finisher has been on a roll all year, Samson Ibale. Rolling a great 813 series, Samson was looking for his fourth championship just this year. Samson takes home a nice $542.00.
