This weekend's stop for the 9-Tap Tour took us to Kenmore Lanes for our Best 3 out of 4 format.  We would like to thank Deja and her staff for hosting our 130 entries.  We hit the Goldilocks zone for the 26 bowlers that made the Cash List with three 800 scores and a cut line of 727. 

 

After paying out a total of $1,780 the last two weeks, this week the 9-Tap Jackpot did not get seriously threatened for a big payout. Will Twyman took the consolation prize of $150 for hitting the Front 4 9-Taps.  Next week's 9-Tap Jackpot will be at $9,045.  

This week's champion, Kevin Cato, started on the Tour last April, for his 1st Championship on the Tour.  Kevin used his Hammer Obsession, drilled by Pat Johns, to knockout the competition with a score of 822.  Kevin was very happy how he bowled, but admitted that he was nervous with the proverbial target on his back.  Kevin, who is retired, plans on just enjoying his $1,932 check.

 

Just missing another championship was long-time Tour bowler, Tong Nguyen. Tong was only 3 pins behind the champion, scoring 819 earning him a 2nd place check, $893.

Michael Hallbach shot well again this week with a score of 806 to take 3rd place this week.  This is Michael's second Top-3 finish of the season, which earned him a $453 check for his efforts, and $145 from the Scratch Pot.
