Wrap Up

Our Sunday '3-Game' format has again shown to be a BIG hit, as we returned to Secoma Lanes, with 155 bowlers entering and creating a large 'Cash List'of 31 Members.  We also had the Highest Payouts for a One-Day Singles event in nearly a year, almost reaching the $10,000.00 mark.  At our previous Sunday 3-Game Tourney, last month at Daffodil, we had a similar HUGE turnout, making them both our highest turnouts this year.  A BIG Tour WELCOME to the THIRTEEN New Members who joined Sunday, a great sign of exciting times ahead!  Another Thanks to everyone today for keeping the pace up on all three squads and finishing within our narrow time slot, as Secoma had a league starting right behind us.  With two 800 series shot all day and a low to cash of 683, we hit the perfect sweet spot scoring range.  The first squad scores started in the moderate range, with a 758 series fired by Ruong Sa Tang leading the pack.  James Black had a SUPER DAY... he shot the days lone 300 game, in his 2nd entry a 287, which included the first TEN real strikes and tied for the High Scratch Series, running away with a EXTRA $360.00 just from the Scratch Pot.  The 9-Tap Jackpot had 3 bowlers hit the Front 4-Taps, Brothers Huyen & Thang Thai along with Phil Pascua each collected $100.00 from the Pot.  The Jackpot again reached the magic $8K mark ($8,003.00), which will trigger a 50% Increase in all the Bonuses for next week.

Today's Winner is a first time Champion Zackery Rule.  What is remarkable is it's also his first time reaching the Cash List since joining the Tour back in June of 2021.  Zackery had admittedly struggled in his previous attempts on the Tour but ,like a Champion, he didn't give-up!  This week he put it all together for a MONSTER 58 pin margin of Victory!  He used his Hammer Black Widow Ghost, drilled by Norm Giannusa at Big Vinnies Pro Shop in Kent.  How HOT was he?  He not only shot his Personal Best game, but shot his TWO highest games of 288 and 261 on the Tour.  Last week Zackery was in Las Vegas bowling the USBC Nationals, where he says it taught him how to stay focused and said it also helped him by bowling on USBCs tougher conditions.  He felt, during practice today, that he would be locked in and said he just had that feeling.  With Zackery's first check he made it a BIG ONE worth a sweet $2,170.00.  It will go to good use.. dinner with his girlfriend, Kristin and son Titus and to pay off debt, since he was in Vegas last week!!  That BIG check also makes it FIVE straight $2,000.00+ paydays for our Champs!!

Secoma Lanes Champion "Zackery Rule"

2nd place went to Tour Veteran Isaac Joseph, who fired the other 800 series this week, a strong 801.  Trying for his 2nd Tour TitleIsaac stayed consistent firing 3 solid games for his best finish since before the Covid shutdown.  A nice check for $978.00 is an awesome way to break out of any slump!

Dale 'The Dancing Machine' Coleman finishes in 3rd Place this week, continuing a very sweet Hot Streak with his third straight TOP SIX finish.  Firing a 241, 254 and 233 for an impressive 797 series, Dale continued his nice roll earning a hefty $506.00 for this effort.  The 3-Time Champion is creeping up that ladder, hopefully to grab his 4th title, better watch out for Dale in the coming weeks.
