Ed LeBaron was definitely lined up on Saturday!! He shot over 500 in back-to-back entries, those combined scores would have easily been enough to win most of our Singles events. Ed's biggest previous score, earned him a 'Top Qualifier'Jacket, back in March at the 1st Quarter Championship, but not his first Title. Staying in the groove this weekend, Ed finally took down that FIRST TOUR TITLE, after 2 years of trying!! Using his Storm Proton Physix and Matchup, he said he felt calm all day and stayed lined up. With his winnings of $748.00, he says "That will buy a lot of diapers and a nice dinner with girlfriend Alyssa."
Mike Crowe, like his Doubles Partner Ed LeBaron, has also been on the Tour for 2 years, though he hadn't bowled as regularly. Mike also earned his FIRST TOUR TITLE, timing his best score of his three entries 519, to match up with LeBaron's 517, to Win by a 28 pin margin. Using his Radical Conspiracy Pearl, he and Ed got lined together and fired off a great 1036 series. Hopefully your winnings of $748.00 can help in your woodworking and fishing.
