We'd like to thank everyone for the nice turnout for the first Phase 3 (covid) Tournament, it was great getting closer to normal Saturday!!  We also thank Hiline Lanes for taking care of us by quickly sanitizing the lanes in between squads and shifts. Scores started out slow with no one scoring in the 800's. Mark Hitchcock lead with a nice 785 in the first squad. The second squad saw the scores increase with three strong 800's shot. In the third squad, the scores slipped back in to the 700 range. With the 9-Tap Jackpot at $3,424.00, we not only had 3 bowlers with the front 4,  Skip Shear, Joe Williams & Brett Schaff sharing the Consolation ($40 ea), but we also had a VERY RARE FEAT when Matt Carlson rolled TEN 9-Taps in one game, which was also his first Tour 300 game (see pic below).  Sadly, one of his real strikes came in the 2nd frame. costing him any Jackpot money.  The scratch series and high game pot were worth $480.00, with Skip Shear's 1006 &   Matt's 300 game taking the top spots worth $135.00 each.

 

 

Our Hiline Lanes '3 of 4' Champion is Jamie Nazario, earning his 2nd Tour title.  His first coming at the Tour's only visit to Angel of the

Winds casino in 2019.  Shooting a HUGE 865 was barely enough to sneak past his good friend Billy Rucker by a mere 6 pins... taking home a hefty check worth $ 2,033.00.(more accurately, wife Shali left with the check).  Jamie used his STORM Intense Fire drilled by Robert Kelly at Secoma Lanes, also where he bowls on Thursday night.  Asked if he had plans with the money... looks like his upcoming trip to Hawaii will benefit from his BIG day.  Aloha!!  Jamie actually started bowling with the 9-Tap Tour in the Hawaii Region back in 2009.  He would like to thank all his bowling family and his team for cheering him on. Nice Job Jamie!

 

Our 2nd Place winner is Billy Rucker who fired a really nice 856 series to come close to capturing his first Title... only to be taken down by his good buddy in the last frame.  Billy earned his biggest career payday, taking home a sweet $ 908.00 check.  In 3rd place and the third close friend in this 'Band of Brothers'. Chim Saechao shot another great series of 845, often enough to win this format. The 3 time Champ takes home $457.00 this week.  If you noticed Chim's 4 bonus pins, it was a nice to see him climb out of his small slump.
