The TOUR returned to Daffodil Bowl this week, where we usually see some ideal scores, well within our sweet spot.  This was proven correct where we had 6 bowlers top the 1000 mark, spread across all 4 squads.  With 137 bowlers and 27 players making the cash list, we also had a perfect 'Cut-Line' at 926.  The leader after the 1st squad, with a strong 1086 series, placed a big target on himself and hoped it would hold up all day.  Our top finishers today were two TOP 10 Tour Vets and one Rookie.  Last week we had a couple of bowlers who needed one more Tap for $500.00.  We said Wednesday that the Jackpot is always in danger at Daffodil.  How would you like the chance to throw one bowl for $5,094.00.  Will Twyman had not only one chance but two opportunities to collect the front 7.  In his third game he came close with the front 5 but struck in the sixth.  In his final game, he started again with the front four, followed by some late pin action on #5 & #6, setting up his chance at the 'GOLDEN SHOT' for #7.  Everyone on the lanes had paused their bowling to watch his final attempt.  We all dream of having that ONE SHOT, but this one was tugged to the left.  Nice try Will, we were all cheering for for you!
