 What a day for Laura Llanto!!! Let's hear it for Laura Llanto!!! When it's your day, IT IS CERTAINLY YOUR DAY!!! It had been awhile since Laura and her husband, Alex Llanto, Jrbowled with The Tour, but Saturday at HiLine Lanesthey showed up hoping to, in her words "Just Cash" ...Well, Laura brought her 'A' Game and did more than just cash, she ran away with it! Extremely focused and self-described "nervous", Laura was steady and even posted a scratch 268 in her 2nd game. Using her Hammer 'Bad Intentions ball, drilled by Kyle Wilke at K&K Bowling Svcs in Las Vegas, then later adjusted by Sam Neves at Precision Pro Shops, Laura fired an incredible 1085 series to win a 1st Place check of$1,487.00. Since it had been awhile since bowling with us, she was only able to put $10.00 into the Progressive Pot which helped the Pot to grow to$2,160.00 for the 2nd Quarter Championship in two weeks at Secoma Lanes! Laura plans to use her earnings on their trip to Reno next month as they will be bowling in the USBC Nationals. She also wanted to say a special thanks to Rob, Margie, Jon & Leon for their support over the years! Congratulations, Laura, Awesome Bowling!!! |
