HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Dad's!  It was a nice Sunny day Saturday at Skyway!  126 bowlers entered this week creating 86 Doubles teams.  Many took advantage of the unique features of this format.  27 different bowlers made the Cash List, with 5 of them making the list multiple times.  Fittingly, the two bowlers with the two highest individual series of the day, were also the only two who made the Cash List THREE times each, Ganny Angeles & Pam Sims.  Adrienne Summers, Mholee Divina & Tong Nguyen each Cashed twice.  The Winner's Pot used for the Doubles format, had a nice $1,140.00 to pay out.  A couple of bowlers didn't get into the Pot, so a few finishers got a nice Bonus, when some of that money passed down all the way to 5th Place.  The Dad's Day Pot paid out a healthy $480.00 to the Top 4 Hdcp High Games, going to Bill Smith 309 $240.00, Ganny Angeles293 $120.00, Wes Puishis 291 $72.00, Greg Olsen 285 $48.00.  While the 9-Tap Jackpot got off really easy this week, withLawrence Mariano, Adrienne Summers & Ganny Angelesstarting games with a mere 3-Taps.  The Jackpot had another BIG jump, now up to $3,888.00 for next week at Paradise.

 

Ganny Angeles & Rey Sta. Maria each won their 1st Tour Title shooting a tough 1040 series.  They came to this point from opposite Tour histories.  Rey was bowling in just his third Tournament, while Ganny is a three year Tour regular.  Ganny had a couple of 'Close Calls', finishing in 2nd Place twice in 2011, both at Roxbury Bowl.  In his July 2011 runner-up finish, he missed 1st by only 7 pins, but he also won $1,000.00 from the 9-Tap Jackpot that day.  Ganny cleaned-up this week as well, finishing in 1st, 5th & 14th, plus earning an additional $120 from the Dad's Pot and again getting a smaller piece of this week's Jackpot Consolation.  Rey has only taken up bowling over the last 3 years, so he was extra excited to get his own Tour History off to a nice start.  Rey has a family trip to Mt. Rushmore planned for this summer, so his share of the Winnings will come in handy.  Ganny said he's 'gonna have a Party' with his.  Rey's ball was a Roto Grip, drilled by Ed Dolfay at Skyway, while Ganny used a Storm drilled by Pat Johns at HiLine.  Ganny asked us to pass his Thanks to Charlyne for her support and his Doubles Partner Rey.  While Rey Thanked Ganny for hooking-up with him for the Win!  CONGRATS to both new Champs!

 

Leading most of the day were two more Members seeking their first Titles.  Jim Hummell & Greg Olson shot a very nice 1024 in the first squad and it nearly held up.  Thanks to a boost from some 'passed down' Winner's Pot money, they shared a nice$912.00 payday.  Another recent newcomer Ryan Hickamteamed up with recent Champion Adrienne Summers to come close, shooting a strong 1021, good for a $488.00 payday.  The only other 1000 score posted Saturday, belonged to part of our 'Yakima Gang', Denise & Mick Thrush, which was good
