Pen Hagen attempts her seventh 9-Tap in a row worth almost $2,000.00

 

Rafael Jandusay continued his recent Hot Streak, backing up his first Tour Championship last month, with a BIG Win on Saturday.  After first joining the Tour in 2005, and returning a little over a year ago, Rafael struggled for a while when he first came back.  Once he started climbing the Cash List and tasting some bigger paydays, Rafael hooked-up with his friend Riffy Poblette for some coaching.  Riffy helped two sons (Riand & Kyle) become excellent bowlers, and now his latest protégé has a couple of Titles to his credit.  Last month Rafael's win came down to a split in the 10th frame that he thought he needed to convert to win.  He barely got one pin on his spare, that made the difference between a ONE-PIN Win and a One-Pin loss (on a strike in 9th).  This time he Won by a more comfortable 19 pins, but it seemed like 1-pin when he had to endure two squads of bowlers chasing his score.  His 1080 was his Personal Best by a large margin and he used his Track 811C/T, drilled by Chad Turner at Majestic, to set that mark.  Rafael wanted to Thank his fellow bowlers and friends, James Black and Samson Ibale for their support.  CONGRATS Rafael for earning a Red Championship Shirt for Win #2.

 

Ben Moore was also seeking his 2nd Career Title and he also shattered his Personal Best with an awesome 1061 series.  Ben didn't give-up after a slow start in his first two games, but finished with two near perfect games to earn a sweet $967.00 for 2nd.  In 3rd Place, Aaron Chavis had his highest finish with a very nice 1046, that would be enough to Win on many other days.  His take home was a healthy $543.00, which was supplemented by $75.00in Scratch Pot money, and some other Bracket Table winnings.
