The day started slowly, thanks to the nice weather and the final weekend of the Fair, but quickly recovered to set up another ‘Fantastic Finish’!  Stu Gallagher made the most noise early by being the first of the day to earn $10.00 by getting the front 2 taps.  This was not good enough for Stu, he then went on to get the front 5 taps which later proved to be the best of the day and earned him and additional $250.00.  18 other bowlers took advantage of the $10.00 ‘front 2’ promotion including Adrienne Summers who did it twice!  The 9-Tap Jackpot again grew to$5,658.00 for next week at Paradise Bowl, where it will be the popular ‘Best 3 out of 4’ format. HiLine's Newest Champion isThang Duc Thai, earning his 1st Career Title!  Thang, said that it was his “lucky day” but his impressive 1014 score in the 3rd squad held strong earning him $1,923.00 as James Black($869.00), Osmond Green ($437.00) and Bill Jones ($210.00) all made solid runs in the final squad only to come up a little short in the end.  Also, with Saturdays performances, Black & Greenboth joined the $15,000.00 club in career earnings.  Thang, who joined the tour in February of 2011, mentioned that he used his ‘Track 508’ ball to accomplish today’s victory and that he bowls mostly at Roxbury Bowl which is also where he works in the Casino.  He also says that he plans to use his winnings to buy presents for his two kids, Christine and Patterson.  Congrats to Thang Duc Thai!
