Wrap Up

We would like to thank Darryl and the entire staff at Wildfire Lanes for the great service and time we had there last Sunday.

It was fun to see inside Wildfire as myself and a lot of others hadn’t rolled at this house before.  We had a great time and met some new people along the way.  As always, we helped wildfire by giving them some of the lanes so they could have some open bowling.

We can’t say anymore how much we enjoy everyone’s company each time we can be here.  This next coming weekend we will once again be there at Santa Fe to train and keep you all rolling.  Let’s make this round at Santa Fe after all the remodel and time away a great day.  As normal we can’t wait to see as many of you that can make it out to bowl and visit with us.

This next Sunday we return to Santa Fe Lanes for another fun time with Cathy and her crew.  Let's roll and have fun.

We also have a nice bit of info for you all:

Note to Las Vegas Tour Members from Rob:

I'm sure many of you are aware that the Las Vegas 9-Tap Tour is looking for partners to run the 9-Tap Tournaments in Las Vegas.  Few are aware that, despite my living in the Seattle area, I still own half of the LV Region, along with Nick and Elaine owning the other half.  They have done a spectacular job at proving the viability of the LV market, but it was never the plan that they would have to run the Region by themselves.  My half ownership was always planned to be passed to another local LV area owner (who as of yet, has not materialized).  Nick previously put out the word that we are looking for additional Partners, who would help to run the business.  With additional partners who can share the workload, it means that all Tournaments would be covered, staff wise and an unexpected circumstance would not put a Tourney date in jeopardy.  If you or someone you know, would be interested in a Part-Time or Full-Time ownership opportunity, please let Nick or I know.

Our 9-Tap Jackpot is holding once again and growing and has just jumped back up to $1102.00 for Santa Fe this coming Sunday.  Along with the Progressive Pot has now made it back up to a nice $1267.00 for this Sunday

This last weekend, we once again crowned a new first-time winner.  He joined to tour back in September of 2023, and has been with us on and off ever since.  His best finish with us was placing 3rd after joining way back in December 2023.  He is quiet and just enjoys bowling with his friends and family.

Last Sunday at Wildfire lanes he came in tightened up his Dexter SST8, got out his Hammer Black Widow 2.0 and got ready to roll.  We want to send out a Congratulations to Aiden Diaz-Toler for an outstanding 3rd squad highlight real of rolling.  He rolled a nice almost natural 263 his first game to get him into the groove.  Aiden made his day continue by staying focused and having a good time.  He did tell us it was his first time at Wildfire bowling.  (That makes quite a few of the other members as well.)  He enjoys bowling at South point on the Double Trouble league on Tuesday night.  Aiden didn’t give us any plans for his winnings except to save it.  He did have his mom and little brother there to cheer him on.  It was our first time meeting them and we had a good conversation as well.  Aiden did let us know, he was staying in the groove and keeping his focus since we were holding lighter squads that day.  He also said to us, he was having a great time as always with us.  His other hobbies beside bowling are Video Games.  Way to go again Aiden and Congrats on your first Championship with us.

Rolling into 2nd this week has had his run at the top and in-between.  Congratulations, to Kevin Nurmi for once again making it to the top of the payouts again.  He has made it to the top for 2 Championships with us in a year almost to the day.  He shows up almost every week to roll with us unless he is out of town.  You only missed another Championship by 23 pins.  Way to go again Kevin keep it up.

Our 3rd place winner is surely no stranger to the tour or the championship spot.  She missed on once again by 42 pins for another Championship.  Way to go to our iron woman Mrs. Ann McGee for once again making the top 3.  She has already won her pristine Black shirt with us on her last win.  Now when she wins, we add a star to for each win with the date on it.
