The Orleans
May 19th, 2024
Total Paid Out: $5,239.00
Very close at The Orleans First, we want to thank Darryl, Fawn, and the entire crew at The Orleans for an outstanding day. The Las Vegas 9-Tap Tour just hit a record number of entries this last Sunday. The turn out was so fun, that the records here show 88 was the highest head count for a single day. Give yourselves a hand, this last weekend at The Orleans we managed to have 93 paid entries for the cash list and paying out 19 spots. Our total payout for the day was an outstanding $5,239.00, also the Progressive Pot jumped from $1029.00 to a very nice $1336.00. Along with the 9-Tap Jackpot held strong this week going from $1206.00 up to a nice $1487.00 for next Saturday. With only 3 members hitting the front 3 no taps, giving each member $25 each. Congrats, to Terry Sherman, Greg Mamac, and new member Leza Tittle for sharing the jackpot. Once again, our scoring was right on track all day. We had an outstanding turnout and want you all to know how much we appreciate you all. Scoring was close, having a low to make the list at 679 up to a high of 778 for the day. And the diversity in HDCP still shows going from a low of 2 pins up to 65 pins this weekend. Our winner this last Sunday joined the tour back in Oct. 2023. He hadn’t bowled since then until yesterday, he arrived with about 2 mins before the third squad time. We reverified his average, along with still having a line signing in to bowl. We managed to only start the 3rd squad 6 mins behind. I would say he had a very nice 1 squad day, since he came to bowl and was watching his kids at the same time. Congratulations, goes out to Christopher Balitine for how in tune you were looking relaxed bowling, but also watching your kids as well. If anyone knows distraction from the game can help keep you in the game. Chris came in lacing up his Dexter Black & Grey Ricky IV, wiping off his OG Honey Bager ball. He plans on using the winnings for his Daughter’s B-day on June 9th ( Early Happy Birthday). Chris bowls Thursdays with the Fil-AM and on Sundays TNBA at The Orleans. He definitely had his cheering section with him this weekend, his 2 daughter’s Neriah & Ny Zhir rooting for him. His feel lucky in the zone moment was, Just knowing where to put the ball and making his adjustments. He has been working at Liv Smart Automations for the last 3 months selling Solar ‘If you need Solar, he’s your guy to go to.’ Chris’s other hobbies are spending time with his family, playing basketball, & sports betting. He does have a nice message for the Tour itself. ‘Thank you to the whole 9-Tap No Tap Tour staff, who are very accommodating, professional, and welcoming.’ Thank you, Chris, for those kind words, we are bowlers and love giving back to you all. Moving on to our 2nd place winner on Sunday is a very special young man. He is so kindhearted and really loves bowling, Calls us to check in and let us know when he is coming. He sure has won our hearts over. This guy was so excited all day just walking into the alley, even more so after the 1st squad ended when we posted on the leader board. He rolled 104 pins above his average which is 147 with the tour. Congratulations, Brett Dawson for always being you. If you haven’t met him yet, you will for sure. In the first squad Brett rolled a very nice 740 series to hold the lead until the very last game of the 3rd squad, and only dropping 1 spot to his first 2nd place finish. Way to go Brett! Moving onto our 3rd place finisher this week, he has been on our cash list four times since joining the team. Congratulations to James Munger Sr. for making it to the top three, your win is coming. He has made a 2nd place finish, 3rd place, 16th place, and finished in the top 16 at our quarterly. You are so close we can see the first-place finish anytime now. Keep up the great rolling. |
