Terry Sherman takes Sunset Station 

We once again want to thank Jerry and his crew for making Sunday fun. 

Our scores here have stayed very consistent each time for the 9-Tap average, to give everyone a real experience of bowling.  

We had a slow start after the outstanding showings the last 6 weeks.  Our turn out is still a decent number even having the API across town.  

Once again, our 9-Tap Jackpot held strong only having 1 person hitting the front 3 yesterday, way to go Tess Li.  So, for this year we have paid out over $2700.00 just for the 9 Tap Jackpot so far.  Our Progressive pot is making waves as the members are seeing the difference if they enter or not and has grown up to $1227.00 after Sunday. 

Since the first tournament in Jan. the Las Vegas 9-Tap Tour has paid out a total of over $45,000 so far to its members.  

You all are outstanding passing on the info to bring in new members each week. 

This week’s winner has been on the tour since Feb. of 2016.  He is also one of the featured members on our banner we put out for the tour.  He has won over $12,000 since joining back in 2016.  His best finish before Sunday since we came back to Vegas was 3rd place back in Oct. and guess where?  You guessed it at Sunset Station.  His first entry he did well, but when his friend Mark Andrus showed up in the last squad the competition was on.  They both do a little private side bet between them, which lite a fire inside him to bowl well. 

Congrats, goes out to Terry Sherman for your long wait to get a win with us again.  He has made the cash list 9 times since rejoining the tour back in Aug.  With the first win being in Aug. of 2016 and then won the Multi-Region in Jan of 2017.  Terry came in laced up his Dexter The9 shoes, wiping off his Storm Astro Physix which was made ready by our friends over at Haynes Bowling Supply.   “His friend Mark was bowling with him but didn’t sound like cheering lol.”  Terry doesn’t have anything special planned for his winnings, except putting it in the bank!  He owns his company called SZ Design Studio for the last 23 years.  His feeling in the zone moment is “I only use 1 ball.”   His other hobbies are playing Tennis, going to the Gym, and Hiking.  

This week our 2nd place finisher is no stranger to our tour; he is one of our newest floor directors.  Since joining back in Sept 2023, he has made our cash list 7 times.  Just this year alone he has made just over $1300 without a first-place finish.  The last 2 tournaments he has made outstanding 2nd place finishes.  Congratulations, Jason Trevino for once again keeping your head up and staying with it to make the top 3.  Your win is coming, believe it! 

This week we had a tie for 3rd place, one is an old member, and the other is a new member.  Congratulations, Don Nagamine for another nice finish he shot a 733 Series in the first squad to hold the lead until a new member came and tied him in the 2nd squad for the lead.  Congrats, Cindy Stine for the kind words and outstanding laughs you give while bowling.  You both held on to keep your tie in the top 3 till the end.
