This last Saturday we were once again at Suncoast.  Thank you to Becky and the crew for another wonderful day.  Once again there is so many tournaments each week to chose from.  

This last weekend we saw a small drop but not much.  Our scoring was right on for our 9-Tap average, with a low to cash at 695 up to a high of 801.  

The 9-Tap Jackpot has been growing each week, with only one member hitting the front 3.  The Jackpot has gone from $2425.00 to $2575.00 for this weekend at Gold Coast.  Along with our Progressive Pot which has gone up from $1020.00 to a nice $1181.00 for this coming Sunday as well. 

We did have 2 members hit a No Tap 300 this weekend as well, great rolling Greg Mamac and James (Bill) Munger Sr.  and tying for the Scratch high game on the same game as well.  The only front 3 No Taps were hit by Tracy Gray to win him a $50 prize.  

Our winner this week has had ups and downs but has become a floor director with us since joining the tour back in Sept. of 2023.  The bowling struggles are real, we all have them.  With that said, he has managed to make our cash list at least 9 times since joining the tour.  With his best finish coming twice in April finishing 2nd in two separate dates back-to-back.  

Congratulations, goes out to Jason Trevino for becoming our newest Champion this last Saturday at Suncoast.  Jason came in Sat. lacing up his Dexter The9 shoes, while using his Hammer Effect ball.  His ball was drilled at K&K Pro Shop in Suncoast.  Jason shot the only 800 of the day.  He bowls league over at Red Rock on Sundays and at South Point on Mondays.  He has the normal plans with his winnings as to paying bills.  Jason let us know, “He had God cheering him on! ‘Most High’ As he put in his special comments, ‘He just had to keep his ball on the outside, and let the ball do the work.’  His other hobbies are bowling, boxing, and enjoying life.  Way to go Jason, we told you that win was coming.  

Our 2nd place finisher joined the tour back in Feb. 2024.  He has made the cash list 4 times since joining and now this last Sat. was his best finish with us.  Congrats, Scott Nelson you only missed your first win by 12 pins.  The way he was rolling this last weekend everyone thought he had it in the bag.  Scott’s first 2 games match to the pin, rolling 288 back-to-back and ending the day at 789.  It looked like he lost the line in the third game, and just fell short.  Way to go Scott, your win is coming. 

Rolling into 3rd place is no stranger to the tour.  He has been a part of the 9-Tap family since 2015.  If our old records are correct, he has 6 wins and was going for number 7.  Which means he is one of 2 members with the covenant Black shirt with added stars.  Congratulations, to Greg Mamac for another outstanding finish with us.  He only missed 2nd place by 3 pins and being out of first by only 15 pins and ending his day with a 786.
