Wrap Up

Great year end at Suncoast

Once again, we had another great turn out, It was great seeing everyone.  We had some more old members return along with 12 new members sign up at the final year end event.  Friends from California made it out, along with some that took a couple months off.

US Bank gave us $500 added money for Dec 16th year end at Suncoast, also Storm with 2 ball Certificates that we gave away to the year end Champion and a random draw after everyone was signed into the 3rd squad.

Our cash list was very impressive at Suncoast this last SaturdayHDCP from 7 pins up to 57 pins are still making the list very diverse with a low to cash at 753 to a high of 872 at the top.  Everyone brought their A game for the year end, it definitely showed with the cash list.

The optional pots have started to grow again, so the next Progressive pot starting in Jan. will be at $984.00, along with the 9-Tap Jackpot going up to $1184.00

We have once again crowned another brand-new first-time Champion for Suncoast.  Congratulations goes out to Raymond Berrow for fighting through the frustration the last 4 tournaments when you joined to finally have an outstanding day for a change shooting a very nice 872.  Raymond joined the tour back in Nov and has only bowled in 4 tournaments with us struggling until Suncoast.  We don’t have a lot of info off the champion report to go by, But he laced up his shoes on Saturday and was determined to roll well.  His Columbia Piranha power core was drilled by our friends at Haynes.  Raymond says he doesn’t have any special plans with his winnings, but he did have Cliff Wallace in text messages encouraging him to do his best.  He has worked at Southwest Airlines for the last 12 almost 13 years now.  Raymond picked out a Storm Phase II as his ball of choice.  Thanks for the great conversations and joking Raymond, we enjoy having you and the guys rolling with us.

Our second-place winner has been going through some rough right shoulder surgery and frozen shoulder.  CongratsNick Kan at your 2nd place finish with an 802 since the doc’s have got your shoulder to loosen up and giving you a little more flexibility and balance.

Taking 3rd place by 1 pin with a 791 at the year-end has been a tour member since our opener back in Aug.  Nick Foley took just shy of 2 months off.   Coming back giving his all was close to pulling it off, congrats Nick we all missed you and the guys being here.
