WOW, our Bowlers Rock! Sunday was a great Day for all. The Scores were right on Target for the Day, with a low 689 to make the cut and a high of 796. This last Sunday was a bit of a challenge for us as 3 other Tournaments were also around us at other Centers. We did our best and made a great day of it. We will do our best to change the 9am squad time some if we can manage it.
This last Sunday brought us another FirstTime Champion rolling a nice 796 at Santa Fe Bowl. Tena Dunn and her Husband joined the Tour at our Opener August 27th. They have just finished moving to Las Vegas and Plan on being regulars to the Tour. We asked Tena if she has ever had a Great Finish like this before, Tena’s words to us were ‘I didn’t’ have a finish like this before. Her ball is a Storm Ball, which she neglected to say which one it was. Andy from a Pro Shop in Oceanside, Ca. drilled Tena’s ball. Tena and David bowl at Suncoast on a Sunday Night league, yesterday was the first time they have bowled since Aug. with the Tour. Tena plans on bowling more Tournament with her winnings, having her husband David right by her bowling, and cheering her on. Tena’s hobbies and interests include Bowling and Crocheting. Tena herself is very excited and Thanks the 9-Tap Family for her 1st time Win. Tena let all of us know our 9-Tap family holds a very Awesome Tournament, ‘Thank You Tena.’ Now for our long time Veteran of the Tour, Sliding into 2nd is Ann McGee. She has been with the Tour since 2015, having 20 finishes in the top 13, under her belt with the tour, is no stranger to the bowling world. Ann Bowled all 3 Squads yesterday, making her adjustment to make her 2nd entry her best with a 772 to push out the leaders to pave way for new members. This Doesn’t happen often to have a Husband and Wife roll into the top 3. Sunday at Santa Fe this happened, David Dunn Slide into 3rd with a strong 752. Not only was David encouraging his wife Tena, but he was also chasing her for first. Welcome to the Vegas area to you both. Next week we head back to Sam’s Town Bowl for another one of our favorite Best 3 of 4. Great Bowling to all and Remember Free Memberships Continue Through 2023. |
