Santa Fe
Sept. 17th, 2023
Total Paid Out: $2,562.00
This last Sunday at Santa Fe was a small challenge! With the challenges comes the spoils. We would like to thank Santa Fe’s staff Cathy and her crew for doing a good job at fixing the small break downs we had. We still have a very nice diversity of Handicaps making our finals from a low 9 pins up to 70 pins. The 9-Tap Jackpot held strong with only the front two Taps being hit to make the Jackpot grow even more. Our winner this week just joined the Tour at our Suncoast Event on 9/9/23, Ray Reynaldo lives in the Las Vegas area bowling in multiple leagues in 3 different Houses in the area. Ray bowls in the Tuesday Mixers at Gold Coast, Storm Fil-Am at the Orleans, and the Friday Fil-Am at South Point. Ray only bowled in the 11am Squad and dealt with some Break downs on the set he was on, which didn’t hold him up to bowl the only 9-Tap 300 on Sunday. Ray shot an outstanding 782 to hold the lead till the end. According to Ray this is his best finish so far and wanted to thank Up Your Alley Pro Shop in Spokane, WA for drilling his Storm Night Road. Cheering Ray on was Charles Kenny, Mindi Bradley, along with Corben Ettelporf. Ray has worked with the Veteran Affairs for the last 5 years and loves spending time with his Family and Friends.
James Brown is also a new member to the 9-tap Family joining at Gold Coast. James made a great first entry, then took advantage of a re-entry and made a go to catch Ray and fell short with a nice 735. Nicholas Anderson also new to the tour joining at Gold Coast. Nicholas has had a great start since joining the 9-Tap Family, making the cash list twice since he joined on 8/27/23. Nicholas came to bowl the 1pm squad, was looking good till the last game coming in with a 705. Our cut line for Last Sunday was acheivable at a 670. Just some FYI’s, Don’t get discouraged when you bowl, our 9–Tap shot is made so everyone has an equal chance to win. Also, remember your average is a 9-Tap Average not a USBC book average. We keep the books every week after the tournament and adjust accordingly. Your average will eventually level off and you will see the slight changes. If you Don’t want to wait around to collect your Winnings, we hold them and disperse them to you the next time you come bowl. We do prefer the winner to be there at the end for pictures for our newsletters and Sponsors. We will be adjusting the upcoming 9am squads to a later start time to hopefully make 2 big squads for time issues, instead of 3 squads at some Houses. Considering everything, having our Bowlers return is our Biggest Priority, from Old Existing Members and New Members alike. Hope all can make it out to Sam's Town, this is a fun center to Bowl in. Let’s make the Tour bigger and prove to the centers why pricing is important to the bowling community. Don’t forget to bring in those referrals to gain a lifetime membership to the tour. Next weekend we will be going to the wonderful Sam’s Town Bowl. Great Bowling to all and Remember Free MembershipsContinue Through 2023 |
