Good Morning 9-Tap Family, We hope all had a great Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends. Sunday was a great day out at Sam’s Town! Tom and his crew once again out did themselves, our scores are back on track to where they are supposed to be. Our membership is climbing even higher each week, with once again 14 new members signing up this last Sunday. Along with old members of the tour returning, Las Vegas 9-Tap Tour is now up to an Out Standing 206 active members, lets get everyone together for an outstanding record setting day. All day this last Sunday at Sam’s town our 9-tap Jackpot stood strong, No one hit the front 3 until the 3rd game of the last squad, Alexis De Mesa along with Floor Director Chris Pankalla, both hit the front 3 only to split the $50 prize. Now our 9-Tap Jackpot jumped to a very nice $2032.00 going into this Sunday at The Orlean’s. Along with our Progressive pot grew up to $804.00. Sam’s Town has crowned 3 new first-time winners’ now, Congratulations goes out to new member J Derick Masangcay for taking the impressive win on Sunday. J Derick’s, mom and dad are old member of the tour, bringing their son to have a fun day rolling with us. He signed up as a new member in our 2nd Squad, rolling well but fell short of our leader Martha Williams (768) by 27 pins putting J Derick (741) into second place after the 2nd squad. J Derick and his Dad re-entered the 3rd Squad and mom Joined in on the fun also entering as well. He came out relacing up his shoes and using his Storm Trend 2 along with his Ice, to roll a very nice high for the entire day of 812 to hold the lead. J Derick’s ball was drilled at Just Bowling in Coaly City, and bowls league at the Fil-Am. His plans for some of his winnings is to repay his mom for sponsoring him and helping him buy his new storm bag that was bought for this tournament. J Derick and his dad bowled on the same pair together, along with his mom cheering him on from the next set. He said, he was feeling lucky and Calm which helped him succeed. J Derick is self-employed and is the owner of a Barbershop. He thanks his mom for sponsoring him to bowl in the tour, along with thanks our staff for making him feel very welcome. His other hobbies are going golfing, mountain biking, and snowboarding. Our 2nd place finisher is Rick Masangcay (J Derick’s Dad). Rick was rolling alongside his son on Sunday, competing very well with his son the two were going head-to-head. J Derick (812) was just able to out roll his dad Rick (785) by 27 pins, with just enough to hold second place by 17 pins. Our 3rd place finisher Martha Williams rolled a very nice 768 to hold the lead all day till the 3rd squad. According to Martha we have her hooked on rolling the 9-Tap Tour. We are so glad to have you with us Martha your win is coming soon we can see it. This last Sunday was an outstanding day and to have the scoring so close from 9th up to first is outstanding rolling by all. With a 731 to make the cash list up to first with an 812. Way to go by all scoring was on par for sure and very competitive to say the least. |
