Wrap Up

We here at the LV 9-Tap Tour, would like to give a big thank you to Tom and his crew at Sam’s Town Bowl.  Sam’s Town did a great job, along with our bowlers for a very sweet time this last Sunday.  We had a nice turn out for our first 4-Game format, along with lots above average high scores.  We're sure that most bowlers know that we strive to keep the scoring in check, by adjusting the Oil Pattern in each Center independently, to keep the scores moderated.  What was put out for us this week was an error.  But the HUGE scores were an excellent reminder, of why we can't use 'House Shots'.  To be FAIR with our bowlers, we will not count Sunday's scores for average purposes, which would have cost most of the bowlers several pins of handicap.  No average adjustments will be made for this Tournament, everyone will stay at their current averages.

Even with the high scores, we still had a nice diversity of Handicaps making the Cash List, from 1 pin to 40 pins.  Our current winner had a great first entry, which lead him to re-enter and shoot the high series for the day.

Congratulations, goes out to Joey Cazar, who joined the tour at our Opener Aug. 27th. Overcoming the first entry, to blow out everyone with his re-entry.  Joey became Sam’s Town Champion, along with winning a Storm Ball of his choice.  Joey, who lives in the Vegas area, used his DV8 Troublemaker, which was Drilled by Keith Boyd over at Gold Coast.  Also sliding in wearing his Dexter SST8 bowling shoes, Joey chose a new Roto Grip Dynam-X  from Storm, for his new ball.  Joey bowls Tuesday Nighters league at Suncoast.  With his winnings, Joey wants to bowl more tournaments. He has worked for United Health Care for the last 2 years and had Family and Friends cheering him on. According to Joey, Bowling is life,’ (just kidding he says).  Joey enjoys his other hobbies PC Gaming and Snowboarding.  As Joey put things, ‘I’m grateful for the opportunity to play in this Tournament. Hard work and practice truly made me prevail.’ (also wants to thank everyone for putting the Tour together)

Newcomer to the 9-Tap Tour, coming in 2nd Place is Sierra Stallworth, brought to the Tour by Chad Gali.  Sierra joined the Tour at our 12:30 Squad at Sam’s Town. Bowling well, she decided to re-enter and found her groove to chase down most of the leaders.

Taking the 3rd Place spot is a Tour veteran, Gregory Mamac.  Gregory isn’t new by any means; he has been with the Tour since joining in 2015 and has 5 Championships under his belt.

The 9-Tap Tour is on a bye week this coming weekend and hopes everyone enjoys our little break.  Next 9-Tap Tour goes back to Santa Fe Bowl on Oct 8th, 2023.

Great Bowling to all and Remember Free Memberships Continue Through 2023.
