Another great day at Gold Coast 

Yesterday was another good turnout at Gold Coast bowling alley.  Each squad lately has been very equal and bringing our cash list up.  This week was a nice challenge for the cash list with a low to cash of 701 up to a high of 780.  The diversity of HDCP was there this week from a low of -1 pin up to 47 pins. 

We had another good week for new member sign ups, 5 signing up and 2 existing members come in from Hawaii. 

Last week, as all have seen, our 9-tap Jackpot was hit by Ann McGee. This week it was close to being in jeopardy again as another Veteran of our 9-Tap family was at it again.  Our very own Ken James member #3 joined the tour back in Nov. 2015, gave the 9-tap jackpot a go this Sunday at Gold Coast.  Ken had the front 3 nicely, #4 and 5 gave him a little action but #6 fell very short.  Ken walked away with a nice $100 prize for the front 5 no-taps.

We have once again crowned another First time 9-Tap Champion at Gold Coast; this brings us up to 12 first time Champions along with 2 multiple Champions out of 14 tournaments since coming back to Vegas area.

Congratulations, goes out to First time Champion Clifford Wallace Jr.  He only bowled in the first squad but let us know he would stick around and possibly bowl the 3rd squad.  CJ as he likes to be called, shot a very nice 780 in the first squad to hold the lead all day.  Since joining the tour back in Nov. 2023, CJ lacing up his bowling shoes, getting ready to roll, used his Scorpion Hammer drilled by our friends over at Haynes Bowling Supply.  CJ didn’t give us a best finish before this but said his best scratch game was a 236.  He bowls at South Point on Wednesday nights.  CJ is a self-employed Barber and had his Family and Nex level barber family cheering him on.  His winnings from this last Sunday are being saved for Christmas.  He says the turning point for being a little nervous was in the last squad seeing someone else give a great run.  His other hobbies are to enjoy tournaments like this one as well as playing basketball, chess, pool, and cutting hair.  CJ wants to give thanks to Nick and the entire Staff for their clarity and patience.  (Thank you, CJ we enjoy having you and all the others who support us out here.) 

Our 2nd place winner was in town from Kaneohe, HI.  Congrats, Cheryl Kato on making a run while in town and making CJ a little nervous. (LOL)  Cheryl and her husband Clint were visiting this weekend and it was a great pleasure to have you both bowl on Sunday.  Cheryl and Clint both made our cash list. (Thank you for the great time and laughs). 

Our 3rd place finisher was giving a great run at first place only bowling in the 3rd squad, also making CJ a little nervous.  Way to bowl Aiden Diaz-Toler on your outstanding run for the top.
