Multiple story lines to run down from Santa Fe but first the hard facts which are almost identical to last week:  We had 37 entries // 7 Members on the "Cash List" // $2659.00 paid out.  Leon Pitcher and Troy Rawling both had 300 games to win the 300 Progressive Pot splitting $46.00.  Michelle Dungan had 5 Taps, good enough for$250 from the jackpot. Guy Hirsimaki won the Crazy 8s contest for a Free Entry!

 

Renita Moore, the defending Santa Fe champion, started out her series with 3 over the top AWESOME games and was on pace to break 1100 again if she could stay strong for the last game.  Running out of gas, she finished with a 992 series which was still good enough to put her as the leader going into the second squad.  Troy Rawling, in search of his sixth title this year, appeared on his way to cracking the 1100 mark, but he to faltered in his fourth game.  Troy would finish with a 1034 set and oust Renita from the Top Spot on the board.  Renita would re-enter the last squad of the day, while Troy went off to try his luck in the casino.  And then Lenny Rileywalked in and did what had eluded Renita and Troy.  Staying consistent all four games, Lenny won his second Tour Title in as many weeks with a WHOPPING 1125 series.  This week he pocketed a COOL $900.00 since he was in the $20 Pro Pot!  Troy would take home $330.00 for 2nd place with his $10 Pro Pot entry and Renita added another $250.00 to her career earnings with her 3rd place finish!  Awesome bowling by all the Members on the "Cash List" this week!   

 

Lenny Riley was armed this week with his Storm Roto Grip "No Rules" drilled by Johnny Petraglia Jr at BowlersMart at Sunset.Sharing a little more with us this week, Lenny told me he feels very blessed to be winning on the Tour as he is a colon cancer survivor with 2 years in remission after 5 surgeries and 2 years away from the game.  He is also a tax preparer so he has that part covered when it comes to handling his "extra Tour income" when tax time rolls around!  Glad you are still with us Lenny and congratulations on your second title on the 9-Tap Tour!
