The day started out with Cameron Collins throwing 4 very consistent games, with just 4 pins of handicap, putting a strong score of 1026 on the leader board.  His best series to-date, was enough to hang on for 3rd Place and a nice $334.00.  Cleo Aragon, posted her own 4 consistent scores to take the lead in the 2nd squad, with what turned out to be a Winning 1067.  The 5 pm squad didn't disappoint either, as many bowlers made a charge to take the lead away from Cleo.  That final squad assault on Cleo's score was led by Daryl Jeffries, who came up just short with his 1027.  He tossed a sweet final 278 game to move into 2nd place.  Daryl's BIG final game pushed him to a very HEALTHY $626.00 payday.

In the end, Cleo took home a WHOPPING $1,366.00 and her first Tour Title.  Cleo has been bowling for over 20 years and was in Las Vegas to bowl another event, when she decided to give the 9-Tap Tour a try.  Obviously a stroke of genius!  She has just recently gotten back into bowling after an assortment of injuries and surgeries.  Jokingly,  we threatened to penalize her some pins for her extra 'Bionic' body parts!?!?!  Cleo used her Storm 'Menace', drilled by Pogie Balandra, out of Daly City, CA for her winning effort.  She said she was very relaxed and just having fun as she bowled, commenting that she feels that she has found "a new home"!  We appreciated her observation, that the Tour felt like a very sincere and honest organization.  She has no special plans with her WINNINGS, other than to go shopping with her husband Wilson who also bowled with her Saturday.  CONGRATS Cleo, we look forward to seeing you and Wilson again soon!

Many thanks to Sam's Town's manager Tom Pippenger, Jr and his staff, for an impressively smooth running Tournament.  It was great being placed on center stage in the middle of the center and the icing on the cake was the 9-Tap logo being part of the scoring grid!   AWESOME JOB, Tom!
