Bowlero Lanes
July 29th, 2023

Total Paid Out: $9,934.00

Wrap Up
The Tour returned to Bowlero-Tacoma where we had a rare squad tournament.  A huge crowd of 163 bowlers showed up resulting in an impressive 33 places paid.  Once again the scoring was right on target, with just scores of over 1000 and a low to cash of 911.   Making the Cash List was just what we like to see, a whole spectrum of skill levels, with a low handicap of all the way to 61 pins.  Consistency was the key this weekend, as many bowlers fell just short due to one game.  As the 9-Pin Jackpot has been growing and stood at a nice $6,709.00, we are still waiting for it to be hit.  Taps were tough again, with 4 bowlers tied with the front 4, until Andy Snow, in the last squad, strung out 5 taps, only to miss the sixth with an eight count.  Andy’s fine effort earned him a nice cash payout of $250.00 and left the Jackpot to grow to a GIANT $7,082.00 for Bowlero-Acme next week

Another first time Champion, topping his best previous finish of 7th place, Cameron MacIsaac fired a huge 1082 series in the first squad.  Using his 'Zen Soul', drilled by Tyler Cruz at Secoma LanesCameron found himself in that famous 'zone'.  He made a ball change in the third game to a Pitch Black when he shot his lowest game of 234, then went back to the Zen Soul finishing with a 244.  This is by far his best series on the Tour.  Cameron would especially like to thank his wife for her support, as Saturday was their FIRST WEDDING ANNIVERSARY (CONGRATS!!).  Cameron takes home a sweet check of $2,188.00, which should pay for a nice Anniversary dinner.

Just joining the Tour in June, Jared Vance took 2nd Place Saturday, in just his 2nd Tour Cash.  Jared did a re-entry in the 2nd squad and lit the place up with a 1060 series.  As stated above, Jared fell into that 'need for consistency' category, shooting a low game of 163, which kept him out of the Top Spot.  Jared took home his largest check to date, a hefty $985.00.

Known to be the patriarch of the 9-Tap Tour, NINETY YEAR OLD Leon Bemis put it all together, firing a very nice 1042 series. Leon himself says he has been struggling for a while, but got into that groove.  He was very close to collecting his 9th Tournament Title.  Leon took home a great check for $395.00 for his effort.
