Kenmore Lanes
April 17th, 2021

Total Paid Out: $5,101.00

Wrap Up
With the day approaching 80 degrees outside, attendance was the smallest seen in years. With only 68 entrees, but this did not stop the scoring at Kenmore Lanes.  We normally see 2 or 3 scores over 1000, but on Saturday there were 7 1000 series, with a low to cash of 979. Expect our next visit to Kenmore Lanes, there will be an adjustment made to the oil pattern. The pattern seem to hold up all day, with 3 1000's shot on the 1st and 2nd squad, and 1 in the third. With the 9-Tap Jackpot at $3659.00, again we had only three bowlers with the front three taps. Jesse Sherman, Zac Clute and Erma Tappe all earned $30 each for their effort. Zac Clute had a chance of 4 front taps, with the 2 pin wobbling and trying to stand but did finally fall. Erma Tappe had a very nice chance to take down the Jackpot with the front 7, but was broken up in the 4th frame with an 8 count. Erma had the front 3, 8 count and then 3 more taps. Very nice try.

The scratch series and high game pot were worth $310. High series was worth $105 and won by Andy Snow's 1035 series, followed by John Moore Jr with a 1010 series and home $50. The high game was won by John Moore Jr with a 300 game and took home $105, followed by Andy Snow's 290 game and $50. Just a shout out to John Moore Jr for shooting not one 300 but two 300 games in his block.

Our Kenmore Lanes Champion is Kris Tong, he earned his 2nd Tour Title. Kris's other title was at Bowlero-Acme on 2-22-2020. Shooting an un-believable 1094 series, which beats his previous best of 1053, earning him $1486.00. Kris used his trusty IQ Tour drilled by Robert Kelly. This ball must be trusty since he is not bowling any leagues this year. At this time he has no plans for his winnings. But would like to thank his uncles for their support while beating both Kare and Kannha today bowling with him, with ALL THREE reaching the Cash List.

Taking 2nd place and trying for his second title, is John Moore III. He fired off a nice 1087 series, earning him $660.00. He almost had the third 300 game of the day with the front 10.This time, he beat Dad John Moore Jr who finished 7th. Nice shooting.

Our third place winner Kare Tong is Kris Tong's nephew. He was shooting for his first title and rolled a great 1053 series. His effort brought him $387.00.
