time, Ed Haskins. The couple didn't mess around with her earning her first title and him finishing 3rd! When Emily checked in, she had forgotten her glasses and had a hard time filling out the membership application with some anxiety about even being able to see her mark to bowl. Apparently, this made her focus even more as she put together what Ed described as "The best I have ever seen her bowl." Her 1062 series made her the first Tour bowler to win on the first try sinceJenna Dee (formerly Thompson) did it over three years ago! The JBLM (Madigan) retiree used herStorm 'Tropical Surge' ball drilled up byRobert Kelley at Secoma's Peter Somoff Pro Shop while wearing her Dexter shoes. With Gustafson finishing 1st and Haskins in 3rd, both with just $10 invested in the Progressive Pot, the pot grew to a monstrous $2,590.00 as we head toHiLine Lanes next week where a fully invested winner will take home nearly $2,300.00! More on Emily below.
knee to propose to his then girlfriend, Heather. After she said "Yes", he fired off an 819 in a 'Best 3 of 4' format, then they left to actually get married, returning a couple of hours later to find out that he had won the title! We couldn't have scripted that any better and we're happy to congratulate them on their 1st wedding anniversary. Wait, there's more! Saturday at Secoma, Heather nearly pulled off an identical storyline as she was at 790 heading into her final game, making Emily very nervous...Heather came up a little short in the end, finishing 2nd for $916.00. Great bowling, Heather!
