Walt Dalrymple & Karol Knight can attest to coming close to popping the 'Middle 7' 9 taps on Saturday as Karol hit six straight, only to throw a perfect seventh shot (see video on our Facebook page) then, a little later, 'Mr Roxbury' (Walt) hit six of seven.  With the Jackpot well over $8k this would have paid $750.00!  Jeff Armour wasn't disappointed for them as he hit the front four, pocketing $150.00 and as we head to Bowlero Lanes next week, the Jackpot is at $8,351.00.  Hope to see you there! 

Ed Berg has been with the Tour for coming up on two yearsin July and has rarely missed a tournament as he bowls regularly with the Thang & Huyen Thai along withEarl Kleist. During Ed's short Tour career he'd already earned well over $5,000 entering Saturday at Roxbury Bowl.  This week he brought his good luck charm, Carla Rivera with him and it seemed to be the right move as he fired a 1059 series to overtake Jordan Pangelinan's 1009 from earlier in the day.  Ed has flirted with winning on several occasions in the past as he has 15 previous Top 10 finishes, including two 5th's along with one each 2nd, 3rd & 4th. Ed had games of 277, 299 & 236 on his way to the win which also netted him $270.00 from the Scratch pot to go with his $1,959.00 Winner's share!  More on Ed further down... 

Up & coming Tour newcomer, Jordan Pangelinan's 2nd Place finish was good for $873.00 after he cashed for the first time just last week at Pacific Lanes.  Karol Knight had a SUPER day as well, firing 1008 for 3rd place and $445.00.  Mr Roxbury, Walt Dalrymple bowled eight games earlier in the day up at Kenmore Lanes with buddy, Tim Fierro, but had to show up at 'his house' and did well, finishing 4th with a 998! Amazingly, there were only FOUR pins difference between Walt's 998 and Jon Hunt's 7th Place 995 with Robert Herring (997) andJason McReynolds (996) sandwiched in between!  Great shooting y'all! 

More on Mr Berg...He used his Storm 'Physix' drilled up by Pat Johns at HiLine Lanes and wanted to thank the Thai brothers, Earl & Carla for rooting him on. He added a thank you to the 9-Tap Tour staff and said he'd use his winnings for bowling more tournaments along with Mariners tickets and perhaps a trip to LA for another Chargers game next season...?  Congratulations Ed, we're really happy for you!
