Paradise Lanes wasn't just a regular stop for the tour this week, it was our 14th Annual Veterans Day Special and it was one for the record books!  With 94 Bowlers on Saturday and 98 on Sunday, we wound up with 186 total entries, there were 38 bowlers on the cash list where we're glad to boast, that there was PLENTY of veteran representation!  We salute all of our Veterans on this special weekend and thank Mike Clark and his staff at Paradise for helping to make it a great tournament! 

Nearly $15,500.00 in cash & prizes wound up being paid out this week, including $3,630.00 in cash, gift cards and other good stuff!  The Vets pot alone had $2,300.00 in cash which was spread out amongst five winners with the highest game w/hdcp. The Navy was well represented as they took the top four spots led by Wayne Liddy with a 321 for $691, 2nd was Cal Fisher with a 309 for $575, followed by Pat Riley & Isaac Joseph who tied for 3rd with matching 308 games for $402 apiece with Ken Seaton at 302 for the last spot and $230. Four of those five wound up in the Top 9 for the tournament as well! 

The 9 Tap Jackpot was bound to get a boost as we took in over $700 in Jackpot entry money. The only way that it wouldn't increase for next week is if someone were to hit the Jackpot outright or maybe the 'Middle 7'. Enter Leon Bemis, who quietly put together one tap, then another, then another...and so on, when suddenly he was at SIX with the golden shot for $6,250.00 in front of him! Leon stayed pretty calm, but you could tell he was excited and he threw a pretty good shot which wound up just a little bit light. he wound up leaving the 2-4-5, but was elated to find out he won $500.00!!!  Below is the video of Leon's shot at glory, just click on either picture to see it!
