There was plenty of drama as we wrapped up Saturday with a handful of bowlers who came OH SO CLOSE! to knocking off the eventual champ. However, we start this week's wrap up with Jackpot talk... Huyen Thai finished 12th overall for the day, but that wasn't the big story for him as he took a chunk out of the 9 Tap Jackpot by hitting the 'Middle 7' taps for $750.00.  You think he wasn't excited?  Check out the video below: CONGRATULATIONS, HUYEN!

Raymond Sedeno, our eventual winner on Saturday led after the first two squads by posting an early 973, Ernie Jones overtook that lead briefly in the 3rd squad when he shot 992.  However, Sedeno bowled again in that same squad and turned in a 1025 series about five minutes after Jones finished up to retake the lead. In the final squad, Christina Miller (970), Chris Andreula (996), Virgina Aguilar (1005), Bob Rouse (1007) and Ray's wife, Pearl Sedeno (973) all made impressive runs while attempting to steal the title from Ray...any one of them could've won with a lucky break here or there.  In the end, Raymond held on for his 1st Puget Sound Tour win and 2nd win overall as he had won in Hawaii WAY back in December of 2011. 

As you can imagine, Ray was pretty happy and had a lot to say about the victory, but a couple of things stood out to us as he had previously told Rob "I'm absolutely not going to win until Las Vegas!" While he was wrong about that, he was quick to say, (and we'll clean it up a bit) "It's about freaking time!"  Ray was wearing his Dexter Shoes and used his Storm ball (we didn't get which Storm ball), drilled up by Robert Kelley at Secoma Lanes.  Sedeno collected the HUGE $2,603.00 winner's check which is the second biggest winner's share this year ($2,744) and said he'd save it for the upcoming Las Vegas multi-region tounament.  Ray & Pearl added "Thanks to the 9 Tap Tour gang and Bowlero Lynnwood for putting on another GREAT tournament!"  Congratulations Ray (& Pearl)!
