For the second straight week we paid out 21 spots with two topping the rare 1100 mark!  More on that below... We also welcomed three new bowlers to the Puget Sound Region as Ty Ogden from the Houston, TX area along with former Hawaii Region members Rolena Furtak & Ace Estiambi.  Rolena & Ace found themselves on the Cash List in their first tourney with us!  Cashing for the first time on tour were Mike Ellis (13th) & Mark Higgins (14th) and also worth a mention, Mike Miller (Dad), Brett Schaaf (Son-in-law) & Heather Schaaf (daughter) all made the trip from Port Orchard with all three cashing!  Great bowling y'all! 

Dale Owen was one of the stars of the day as he hit the front six 9 taps, making way for that 'Golden Shot' at the Jackpot and $5,274.00.  Although Dale didn't hit #7 for the Jackpot, he did earn $500.00 for the front six!  Nice work, Dale!  We have video of the shot, but couldn't get it uploaded before sending out today's newsletter.  We'll try to get it into our next one! 

Eddie Burdsell led early on in the day with a 985 1st Squad score, then Samson Ibale took over the lead with an impressive 1032, leading after two squads when inexplicably the flood gates opened  as Sam Em shot a hefty 1059 for 3rd Place to earn $467.00 with Kare Tong taking 2nd Place and $926.00 with an 1109, making way for Pearl Sedeno to get RED HOT by shooting 1122 to take her 8th Title! 

Apparently, Pearl was really focused with her husband,Deno (Ray) NOT on hand this week to root her on. Joking afterwards, someone said "Pearl, you bowl better when he isn't here." With the Tour's 3-Region Tourney in Las Vegas up next week, Pearl said that the $2,064.00 will definitely come in handy!  We mentioned that this was her 8th Career Title, this includes two wins in Hawaii and she's looking forward to seeing and bowling with her Ohana (family) next week.  Pearl used her 'Blue Taboo' ball drilled by Robert at Secoma Lanes and said that she found the line, stayed in 'The Zone', remaining focused throughout the four games.  She added "Thanks to the 9-Tap Tour gang & Bowlero Lanes for putting on a great tournament. Love you guys!"  Good Job Pearl & good luck next week in Vegas!
