Total Paid Out: $13,638.00

Wrap Up

What a weekend!  Paradise Bowl Entertainment Center & 9-Tap Tour hosted our annual Veterans Day Event with participation and sponsorship beyond our expectations!  When the dust settled, a RECORD 155 entries made way for 31 Cashers and we were particularly excited to see that 14 of our Vets made that list!  We were even more elated to see that FIVE of the Top SIX were Vets!

We took photos of our participating Veterans before each squad

1st Squad Vets

2nd Squad Vets

3rd Squad Vets                            4th Squad Vets

Our sponsors stepped up big time as we handed out over $4,000 in prizes and we put together a list of the winner's below.  BIG shout out to Tour Member's Alvin Koch & Will Cotton who donated FIVE bowling balls while the Paradise Pro Shop guys, Bobby McKenzie & Mike Bradley threw in a ball as well!

Another record that was broken was the Vets Pot which paid out an incredible $2,100.00 which we split five ways with Army Active Duty member Lisa Keough earning the biggest share by placing 1st AND 5th for $840.00 total to go with her 4th Place finish where she added another $270.00. With a late surge that we nearly missed, Ken Seatontook the 2nd spot in the Vets Pot for $525.00 to go with his overall 2nd Place finish and another $727.00.  Dan Grass has found himself all over this newsletter (photo is in here six times) as he finished tied for 3rd in the Vets Pot with Ernie Jones, both earning $367.50 with Jones adding a 3rd Place overall finish and another $477.00. Wanted to also mention Shaun Firestone who was knocked out of the Top 5 in the Vets Pot, finishing 6th.  Shaun, we apologize for the hiccup late in the day and appreciate you for being understanding as well as for your service!

On Saturday, somewhat quietly, Sun Hwang produced one of the bestperformances that we've seen in a long time as she threw FOUR GREAT games of 205~246~243~266 for 1104 total w/handicap!  Sun used her Storm 'Tropical' and said that she was on fire and "Loves bowling with friends." Sun is a newer member of the Tour and this is her first career title as she earned $$1,984.00, by far her biggest check to date.  She said that Dean Richards at Daffodil Bowl drilled her ball and that she wanted to thank her Husband for cheering her on!  Sun enjoys bowling and added that she enjoys hiking in her spare time and she'll save her winnings for future tournaments.  Congratulations, Sun!
