Exactly six months ago today, Erma Tappe earned her firstTour Title at Roxbury Bowl...This week she gets her 2nd Title as she posted her 1008 series in her 1st Squad entry early in the day, hanging on with challenger after challenger falling by the wayside!  Erma's husband,Stan was again on hand to root her on as were good friend's Matt & Joyce Surina.  It was Matt who drilled Erma's Storm 'Tropical Breeze' as she said "I found a shot that worked and was able to keep it until the end."  Erma's performance was her best EVER, by 12 pins as she posted four games, all above her average, including two giant games which propelled her to the win!  Erma winner's check of $1000.00 may seem a little bit on the light side, but when she bowls, sometimes she puts money in the Progressive Pot, sometimes she doesn't and because she didn't this time, the $916.00 carries over to next week atPacific Lanes where our winner will likely take home well over $2,300.00. 

Earl Kleist hit the front four 9 taps to earn $100.00, pushing the 9-Tap Jackpot to $3,640.00 as it continues to grow quickly! 

After a pretty big turnout last week, we did have a slow start to the day, but finished strongly to top 100 entries at 105.  As is usual for us at HiLine, Pat Johns and his crew were incredible in making the day go smoothly. Pat again set up the perfect shot for us as scores were slightly low, but our Cut-Line was pretty much on target at 907! 

Angel Inouye finished 5th, shattering her all-time best game score with a 254 scratch game, which featured eight strikes in-a-row!  Thang Duc Thai was 4th with THREE games in the 240 range, while having that one lower game which likely cost him the title.  Rarely do we have a tie for 2nd Place, but Walt Dalrymple and Mr 'Right on Time' himself, Dan Elliott posted 982 apiece to earn $652.00each!  Walt was on track to win after three HUGE games, but later said that he simply "Ran out of gas."  Dan threw four very solid games ranging from 18 to 37 pins above his average.  Great shooting everyone!  With a tie in the last cash position, we added a 22nd Casher to the delight ofJoyce Roberts & Skip Shear.
