HiLine Lanes - Burien, WA
September 27th, 2014

Total Paid Out: $6,848.00

Wrap Up
HiLine produced another ideal 'Cut-Line' of 922, which fell right in line with their previous 920 & 911 results.  120 entries this week, produced a nice 'Cash-List' of 24 bowlers.  ONLY TWO Cashers topped the 1000 mark, but they did it in a BIG way.  The Winning 1062 series (4:30squad) created a whopping FORTY-TWO pin margin of Victory and the 2nd Place 1020 (2:00) was another THIRTY pins ahead of 3rd Place.  The 9-Tap Jackpot got off easy when several bowlers just missed the 7-Middle Taps, getting 6 out of 7, instead 3 bowlers (Abella-Woldt-Smallman) shared the Consolation with the Front 3 Taps.  WATCH OUT... next week's $4,475.00 Jackpot in DANGER (see 'You Asked For It' below).

Patrick Dennis broke his two year Win drought with an awesome performance in the 4:30 squad.  The 2012 Rookie of the Year had 2Wins in his Rookie year, but despite numerous Top 10's and several 2nd's & 3rd's, he's just missed since then.  Just this summer, Dennis became a Member of the '$10,000.00 CLUB' and this nice payday of $1,758.00 boosts his Career earnings to an impressive $12,358.00.   He certainly left no doubt with his BIG 1062 score and when he was asked what was his 'Secret' Saturday, his answer was a lesson to all of us.  Patrick said, "I just went out there and had FUN today, I was in a Silly Mood".  He thanked his friend Amy for contributing to his 'Silly Mood' and buddy Willie Manning Jr for helping him keep it while he bowled.  Norm at the Kent Bowl Pro Shop drilled his Roto Grip 'Rising Star' that he used for the Win.  Patrick's also been getting lots of practice this year, bowling in four Leagues at Skyway, HiLine & Tech City.  CONGRATS Patrick on Win #3 and the White Champions Jersey that goes with it!!

Matias Oriza improved on his previous best finish (3rd 2/15/14), briefly holding the lead after the 2:00 squad with his strong 1020 series.  His well earned $803.00 2nd Place check should help carry him over, until he gets that first Win.  In 3rd Place, Shawn Evans made a GREAT run at the Top spot, positioning himself within a HUGE final game, but fell short with a still impressive 990, good for a $432.00 payday.
