THANKS to all the Tour Members who made the trip to Yakima and Welcome to the Nob Hill bowlers who participated Saturday.  The Cut-Line was only 913, but that didn't paint a very clear picture... the scores were HUGE, as 7 bowlers topped 1000 and one did it twice.  Back and forth the lead went, from Yakima locals, to Tour regulars and back again.  Mick Thrush (both a local & a regular) turned in the first BIG score with a 1024, untilRon Campos (Seattle) moved in front with a Bigger 1052.  Then a former Puyallup bowler (now Yakima local) James Pitt upped the mark to 1053.  Then up steps Nob Hill bowler Mandy Cramer, who BURIED them all with a Spectacular 1087.  In her first Tournament, she bowled like a veteran, getting better in every game.  Mandy is a Nursing student at Yakima Valley CC, so the Winnings will certainly come in handy.  Her total of $632.00 was limited by having $10 in the Pot, but since it was a Winner's Pot, that money got passed down to 2nd, 3rd & 4th Places.  Mandy used a Roto Grip 'Disturbed' that was drilled at Nob Hill Lanes by Jim Kent.  Nice Bowling Mandy!  In 2nd Place, James Pitt duplicated his 2nd Place finish from last year's Yakima Tournament.  James first joined the 9-Tap Tour in 2008.  In 3rd Place, Tour regular Ron Campos had his best finish to date, after holding the 1st squad lead.
