 As usual, we had a perfect range of scores, with THREE bowlers topping 800 and another Champion who got insanely HOT, winning by 36 pins! Several Members had their Best finishes Saturday and some also broke-out of recent slumps. The 'Cut-Line' of 731 was 11 pins lower than our previous 'Best 3 of 4'format at HiLine. The 9-Tap Jackpot escaped again, reaching its high for 2012 and inching even closer to the All-Time-High set in 2011. Patrick Dennis had 6-Taps in-a-row, setting up the opportunity for ONE SHOT for $1,000.00 (see video below). Kareem Browne & Paul Mann took the Jackpot Consolation this week, starting their games with 4-Taps and each pocketing$150.00 for their effort. Paul Mann returns to the Winner's Circle three years after winning his only previous Singles Title, which was also at HiLine Bowl in 2009. This is Paul's 3rd overall Win, going with the Doubles Title he and Bill Smith won at Roxbury in January 2010. Paul had been in somewhat of
 a slump over the last few years, but did break through with a 2nd Place finish in May, at our first Satellite Tournament in Port Angeles. Paul has done quite well on the Tour! In August 2009, he hit the 9-Tap Jackpot for a HUGE $4,757.00bonanza at Tower Lanes (picture below). The $1,938.00 Paul earned for this win, pushes him into the exclusive '$10,000.00 Club' for Career Earnings. Paul credits the recent improvement in his game to the fierce competition he has with his good friendJames McElvey, even when they're practicing together at HiJoy Bowl. As a result, James also had his best finish just a few weeks ago. James' Mom (Katherine) and Grandma were there rooting for both of them, with James also finishing in 9th Place this week. Paul used his Storm 'Hi Road', drilled at Nick's Pro Shop in Port Orchard, for the win. CONGRATS Paul on Win #3, which earns you a white Champions Jersey!In 2nd Place, Emma Jarata came close to making it a 'Family Trifecta'. Within the last 12 months, husband Roland won last November and son Ajay has won twice in 2012. This 2nd goes together with two other 3rd Place finishes this year. Her 1st squad 804 series held up for a nice $875.00 payday. 10 year Tour veteran Mholee Divina reached a MAJOR MILESTONE with his 3rd Place finish, becoming the 8th Member in the '$20,000.00 Club'. His 801 was good for a $478.00 check, pushing his earnings total to $20,045.00.
BOWLERS APPRECIATION DAY: We've had lots of questions asking about this mysterious Tournament listed on the schedule. We've been telling those questioners, that we're hoping to see a RECORD number of bowlers (250 or more) for this one... a Record number of New Members... and that what we have planned, "Has never been done before"! But, we still haven't told them what's happening. Details will be announced on 11/11/12 after the Veteran's Day Tournament.
