Danny Nudelman fresh off the boat (Cruise Ship), went home and found his beloved Parrot ‘FRED’ was dead. He came in to bowl Saturday with a frown but left with a huge smile. The girls might have had something to do with the smile!
This was Danny’s 2nd championship since joining the Tour back in 2002. Danny used his favorite ‘Hammer”, drilled by Bob at Acme Lanes. Danny intends to use his winnings ($2,039.00) to go on another cruise. Danny wanted to thank Bob Rouse for cheering him on and being a good friend. Danny is dedicating this win to his mother who is his number one fan and is always in his corner. Gani Ildefonso who bowls league at Hooters felt comfortable, and earned second place with his 772. Char Patton was pleased to take 3rd.
We are looking forward to Paradise Lanes in Parkland near Tacoma, as we will be celebrating Mother’s Day there. We will kick-in some added money to a special ‘Mother’s Day Bowling Pot’
Hope to see you there. Squads are at noon, 2, 4:30, & 6:30 PM. Strike pot grew a little higher although Ted Sherman did get a slice for his 6-No Taps. Progressive pot is almost the same at $1,945.00.
